Why are site visits performed?
Our free site visits allow us to obtain specific information regarding your property, in order to generate for you the most accurate estimate and a comprehensive, customized plan for the requested service(s).
Site Visit
Who performs the site visits?
UPMS employees, who have been required to pass our required background checks, verification process, and customer service training, are designated to specific sites based on the specific services that have been requested. We match the most qualified and experienced UPMS personnel with their specialties, ensuring the customers' requested services or projects are performed optimally. The UPMS member who conducts the site visit will most likely be the personnel performing the actual service or project.
Pressure Washing
Pressure Washing
Does UPMS use bleach or chemicals during the pressure wash process?
The use of chemicals depends on the surface requiring the pressure washing but when chemicals must be applied, we use a non-toxic, plant and pet friendly soap. Our unique hot water pressure washer is another available option.
Pressure Washing
Does UPMS use cold water or hot water for pressure washing?
UPMS has the capabilities to provide cold water and hot water pressure washing. Depending on the surface sensitivity, material durability, the level of adhesion of unwanted layers on the surface, the type of impediments on the surface, among many other factors, the temperature of the water applied will vary. The addition of chemicals may be used with both hot and cold pressure washes, which also depends on a variety of factors as well.
Pressure Washing
Are ground surfaces treated differently than walls and other vertical surfaces?
Yes, we use custom-built surface cleaners that allows us to clean
the ground efficiently and effectively. Various temperatures and chemicals may be applied with the use of our surface cleaners as well.
Pressure Washing
Will the water, especially the temperature or pressure, damage my property?
Our pressure wash team of experts do a pre-job inspection of all the surfaces that are requested to be washed. We
take careful note of any delicate or damaged surfaces, potential hazards, electrical outlets, and special accommodations. If any issues or concerns arise before the start of the
job, we will always alert the customer.
Pressure Washing
What can I do to prepare for a pressure washing job?
Please make us aware of any preexisting conditions on your property before we begin our job. Remove all debris and objects that may interfere with our crew working or that may stand in the way of what needs to be washed. An example, if we are washing a back porch, we need all chairs and furniture to be moved, unless you’d like those washed as well. If we have to move things to begin our job, we will charge for the time doing so. If you have pets or animals, please move them inside so our crew may work uninterrupted. Please allow enough space for our truck and trailer to park and operate comfortably.
Pressure Washing
Will UPMS use our water for the pressure washing job?
No, UPMS will not use your water. Unlike many other companies, we have high tech machines and systems that are sensitive to the chemical rich tap water. In turn, UPMS only uses water that has been treated with Reverse Osmosis.
